Professor Matthew HumphreysKingston Business School is a vibrant and innovative School, and our aim is excellence in learning, teaching and research. Our research was ranked the top of modern, post-92, Universities for Business and Management research in the last Research Assessment Exercise and our programmes are accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

We offer a comprehensive and professionally relevant set of courses and are brought together by our dedication to student achievement, pursuing world-class research and engaging and interacting with practice to shape, inform and evaluate what we do.

The environment that you are taught in is key to providing you with a fulfilling and exciting study experience, and helping to ensure that you are well equipped to meet the challenges that studying at a high level will bring. We are based in a fantastic London location, on a beautiful, safe campus with excellent facilities including the new Kingston Business School building. The campus also boasts a first class Learning Resources Centre and a campus feel that is surprising considering the London location. Academic staff in the Business School are diverse, professional and supportive and we pride ourselves on the importance given to our teaching.

Welcome from the Associate Dean

Our mission at Kingston Business School is to help our students create and unlock opportunities so that they can make an important contribution to the world as individuals and as leaders in business and management. The School has over 3,000 students, with around 2,500 studying for bachelor degrees, 600 plus masters students, and 60 students on our doctoral programme. Our students are drawn from over 80 countries and our teaching faculty come from 25 countries, making Kingston a truly international experience. The mix of nationalities and cultures makes for a diverse and vibrant academic community.

Studying at Kingston Business School will prepare you for a wide range of careers through the courses we deliver, as well as the work placement (internships), projects, and study abroad opportunities that we offer. Our portfolio of bachelor and masters courses is among the most comprehensive in London and includes accounting, finance, banking, international business, marketing, human resources management, logistics, and business IT. We also deliver Kingston programmes in Moscow, Mumbai, Singapore and Greece and we have partnerships for student exchange, faculty exchange, and research with other business schools around the world. Almost anywhere you go in the world today, another Kingston Business School alumnus is not far away.

At Kingston Business school we pride ourselves on the quality of our programmes and teaching and also the quality of our graduates. As you will see from our website, our courses are accredited and endorsed by many professional institutions and we are one of only 22 UK university business schools to hold 2 or more business school accreditations. For the past four years, Kingston University has been the top UK university for graduate business start-ups, with most of those start-ups emanating from Kingston Business School. All this is underpinned by high quality research and scholarship as evidenced by the last Research Assessment Exercise (joint 35th in the UK).
