Student Support

As a postgraduate having a good support service is essential, that's why at Kingston Business School we offer a first rate support service throughout your studies which even continues after you graduate. The services below are specific to Business and Law students, and we also offer university wide support services which you can find out about here.

Personal Tutors are assigned to all students studying on Masters programmes. The personal tutor is an important aspect of the support you will have at Kingston to help you get the best from your time here.

Your Tutor's role is to ensure that you receive adequate academic guidance, for other forms of support you should still use our existing services.

Your personal tutor will normally make arrangements to see you either individually or in groups once per semester. You can also arrange to see your personal tutor at other times if the need arises.

Your personal tutor is the most likely person you will ask to act as one of your referees for jobs although you can ask any member of staff who knows you.

Business and Law Academic Skills Centre(BLASC) is a drop in centre that offers assistance with academic and research skills and providing essential support for those whose first language isn't English. You can find out more about this service here.
