Executive MBA Programme
The executive MBA programme begins in September or February, and encompasses mainly weekend teaching across two years. The courses begins with an introductory week where you will introduced to the facilities at Kingston and also the ethos of the courses. The teaching is then split into two main parts:

Part 1
Part 1 gives you a thorough grounding in general management, including skills and perspectives across the main business function areas. The modules covered in this part of the programme will develop your understanding of management theory and practice as well as helping you with your career development through the introduction of the latest themes and topics in these important areas.
The Careers section includes group participation, guest lectures and scope for individual advice on your future career aspirations. The programme of Leadership and Professional Development, starting in Part 1, is designed to enable critical reflection on your learning style and interpersonal skills, including team working and leadership.
Part 2
The Strategic Management module is designed to further develop your understanding of the processes of strategic management. As in Part 1, this takes a thematic approach that responds to topical and live issues while addressing a number of key strategic issues that organisations encounter in their relations with the wider business and public policy environment. The Leadership and Professional Development programme continues through Part 2, where the emphasis is on career development. You also have the opportunity to focus on particular interests through the choice of four Electives and the MBA Project.
