The latest Strategy into Practice seminar brings in Tim Clifford, retail partner at KPMG to discuss the role of strategy in Consumer Markets.

Tim is the European lead Partner for Transactions and Restructuring in KPMG’s Consumer Goods and Retail sector. His focus is on Retail, Wholesale, and Distributive trades, where he works with a wide range of Corporate, PE, and Bank clients, in the UK, Europe, and worldwide. Tim started his career as a retailer and held senior executive roles at Kingfisher, Dixons, and WH Smith, within the areas of Trading, Retail Operations, & Supply Chain management in the UK, Europe, and Far East.

His consulting career began in a major global consulting firm specialising in performance improvement and large scale change before joining KPMG to lead the European Consumer Goods and Retail Transactions team in London in 2007. Tim has worked with Fast Fashion retailers across Europe, Grocery retailers globally, Consumer Electronics retailers globally, Food & Non Food wholesale distributors, Luxury Goods brands, and Dining / Fast Food chains. Increasingly this work has included eCommerce and multi channel retailing and distribution.
