Many of our entrepreneurial role models are male. Well, today we have two great women to tell their stories – what are the highlights of being a woman entrepreneur?
- Jessica Grosvenor - Prior to starting her business, The 25yr old entrepreneur from Wolverhampton was a Freelance teacher for 5 years. Within six months of starting the business – Freelance Training & Consultancy, it turned over £1.46 million. She won the Shell LIveWIRE Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2010, walking away with £10,000 in cash prize and valuable business contacts and press. Her company offers bespoke training across Health and Social Care and Leadership and Management using NHS qualified nurses and assessors who have been made redundant - http://www.fl-training.co.uk
- Claudine Reid - Voted as one of Britain’s Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs by real business magazine in 2008, Claudine Reid MBE is considered to be one of the most inspirational women of the time.
