Kingston Business School awarded prestigious Small Business Charter Award
Tuesday 30 June 2015
Kingston Business School is pleased to announce we have been awarded the Silver Small Business Charter Award. This is the second consecutive year we have received an award from the ABS Small Business Charter Board.
Professor Ron Tuninga, Pro Vice Chancellor, Enterprise and Dean, Faculty of Business and Law was delighted by the news and said:
'This is a recognition of the excellent work that all of you do in the Faculty of Business and Law and across the University in entrepreneurship education, support for small businesses and influencing the small business growth agenda.
Our support is diverse, and provided directly to entrepreneurs (students, alumni, SME owners) and also through the research and consultancy done in both the SBRC and the various departments in the business school. Congratulations to everyone for their excellent work in this important area.
Many thanks to Martha Mador and to Debra Riley for bringing together a strong submission based on data sources across the faculty and the wider university.'
