One of our major corporate partners, the business consultants, SquarePeg International has won not one, but two awards at the recent UK Institute of Business Consulting Awards held at the Langham Hotel in London. Doug Ross, the Managing Director of SquarePeg, is a member of the Kingston Business School Advisory Board and has also made contributions to a number of Kingston Business School programmes, including the provision of consultancy internships for Kingston postgraduate students.

The prizes gained included the IBC Practice of the Year (under 30 employees) and the Best International Project Award. The client for the latter award was Birds Eye Iglo Group and the Chief Information Officer, Tania Howarth said of SquarePeg: ‘Our people were excellently engaged and very well prepared and we certainly did transition remarkably smoothly to the new operating platform. Yet, [SquarePeg] provided significant value well above and beyond that brief. Just one example of the huge value they added was in their managing the change process so as to instill our new corporate values of individual responsibility and entrepreneurship. That is exceptional change management'.
