Biography

Leigh was born in the parish of St Mary, Jamaica, emigrating to Leeds in the late 1990s. He gained a Construction Management BSc (2003) and Civil Engineering BSc at Leeds Met (2010). Leigh wanted to take his career into the renewables sector, so applied for and successfully completed an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering at Kingston University. He graduated in 2014 and was selected by Audley Genus to receive the first YTL PhD studentship, starting in September 2014.
