Short Courses and Executive Development

If you are interested in enhancing your skills on a certain subject, or simply want to learn about a new topic then one of our range of short courses could be the perfect answer. Short courses are an excellent alternative for busy professionals who cannot commit to full or part-time study, and in many cases can count towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

We run a range of courses across a variety of business and law disciplines, enabling you to gain the knowledge you need over a short period of time. Most courses run over a 1-3 day period.

If you have a group of employees who need training in a certain business discipline, or perhaps even want to undertake a short course for CPD purposes then we can help.

Courses can be constructed according to your needs and run from half a day to several weeks.  We always try to ensure an element of practical exercises that can be implemented directly into the workplace.

Social Media workshop 1:

Thinking like your customer - how to use social media effectively

4 - 5 March 2015

This course will introduce you to the dynamics, shifts and new processes within marketing. Themes include: linking core business and marketing values; segmentation, targeting and positioning; how and when to use organic and paid for promotion; and finally the importance of analysing how the customer thinks, acts and behaves online.

We will be looking at different stages of the customer journey - looking at optimising social media at each stage, and linking objectives and outcomes to social media interventions

You will take away completed customer journey plans, content creation grids, social media fact sheets, and a clear ability of how and when to use social media.

Listening, talking and marketing with mobile

This workshop will introduce you to specific changes and considerations linked to mobility, ubiquitous connectivity and on-the-move search / purchasing

In linking geography with mobile, our completed customer journey maps will be focusing on particular social media tools and how responsive content creation can act as a catalyst.

We will be looking at mobile geolocation and location based marketing, content marketing / narrative and storytelling, and the digital customer journey.

Specific outputs include mobile interventions, content creation, importance of monitoring and listening and ‘responsiveness’.
