Biography

Jelena has over 20 years of experience in research and teaching in management and leadership on MBA, Masters and executive programmes at universities in the UK and internationally. Prior joining Kingston University, Jelena worked at Cranfield School of Management, University of Wolverhampton Business School, and University of Belgrade. She has also supervised postgraduate student projects in Aston Business School and conducted research and consultancy for Mercer (formerly Organization Resources Counselors (ORC) Inc.- a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies), Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the Guardian, BT and Volvo Cars.

Teaching

Jelena is Associate Professor of Strategic Leadership and International Management. She leads a portfolio of the postgraduate programmes in the Department of Management.

Jelena is a reviewer for several academic journals, and is actively involved in academic networking with the universities in the UK, US, Italy, Serbia, Peru and Brazil.
