Mohamed Nurullah is a Reader in Banking and Finance and Director of Post-graduate Studies at the Department of Accounting and Finance. He is also the Research Coordinator of the Banking and Finance Research Group of the Department of Accounting and Finance.
Dr Nurullah joined Kingston University London from Glasgow Caledonian University in May 2009. Prior to the Caledonian he spent eight years at the Cass Business School (City University London), first four years as a PhD student and later on as a faculty member at the Centre for Financial Regulation and at the Faculty of Finance.
Dr Nurullah\'s research is of an interdisciplinary nature. His research interests include Strategic Issues in Banking, Insurance and Pensions; Corporate Finance and Investment; Risk , Regulation and Governance of Financial Institutions. He has presented papers in conferences in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific countries. His research has been published in US and European journals. Dr Nurullah is a Visiting Lecturer at the Cass Business School, London, and at Westminster Business School, London.
Dr Nurullah has supervised a number of PhD students and is willing to supervise suitably qualified doctoral candidates in all areas of banking, bancassurance, insurance and risk management, Islamic banking & Insurance (Takaful), and regulation & governance of financial institutions.
