Christina joined Kingston in 2001. The topic of her doctorate at London Business School was Performance Differences between Multinational and Nationally Homogeneous Teams: The Influence of Status Cues.
Her research lies at the intersection of International Management and Organisational Behaviour. Current projects concern global team performance, the changing nature of teams, leadership of global teams, and the development of the workforce for the demands of global work. She is Co-ordinator of CRESS and a founding member of the international network Leveraging Culture in Teams based at Uppsala University.
Prior to beginning her doctoral work, Christina was a Research Associate at IMD in Lausanne, conducting a study into how manufacturers in the US, Japan and Europe involve their suppliers in the development of new products. The results from this work have been published in Research Policy, the International Journal of Technology Management, and in a book entitled Leveraged Innovation.
