Biography

Rahul is an alumnus of Delhi University, Chartered Institute of Marketing, Cranfield University and Kingston University. He has extensive industry experience, of which seven years were spent in the publishing industry. As an entrepreneur, Rahul successfully established and operated his own contract publishing firm in New Delhi (India) for five years. During his stint as a marketing practitioner, Rahul contributed business articles on the marketing practice for publishing outlets such as Economic Times, Business line, Wall Street Journal (India Journal), Strategies Europe and the special publication to commemorate the 3rd India-EU summit.

In 2013, Rahul was awarded the Director of Research Prize for the best overall performance on MSc in Management and Business Studies Research program of Kingston University. Rahul completed his PhD in marketing from Kingston University in 2015.

Research Interest(s)

Word of Mouth and Services Marketing

Rahul's work on WOM has appeared in Journal of Marketing Management. Furthermore, Rahul has reviewed papers for Studies in Higher Education; Journal of Interactive Marketing; International Journal of Internet Marketing and Advertising;  European Marketing Academy (EMAC); Academy of Marketing (AM) and Academy of International Business (AIB).

Rahul has also taught Marketing Simulation in the past.
